Dolls can be special ordered with your choice of eye, hair and dress material.  Skin color can also be customized.  Porcelain slip comes in a variety of colors from the white we use for some clowns and Christmas ornaments through various beige, browns and blacks to jet black.  Eye colors can be special ordered either as glass eyes or hand painted.  Wigs can vary in both style and color from Blond to strawberry to auburn to brunette to black.

Dolls make a wonderful venue for displaying antique or choice jewelry or lace.  A customer in Central City, Colorado, used Stephanie's dress to display her Grandmother's wedding lace, and other heirloom lace from her Grandmother's wardrobe.  It was a magnificent way to show off this special family heirloom.  Stephanie stands on the oldest square grand piano in Colorado in the dining room of her magnificent Victorian home and receives most of the attention at social gatherings.   Another customer used the bust of Jade to display a cameo broach she bought in Pompeii, Italy.  The size of the jewelry piece must be appropriate for the size of the doll, but even a rather large necklace can be displayed on Leatha Marie, who stand almost 50 inches tall.  The larger floor standing dolls are excellent displays for pearls, crystal strands and broaches. 

A customer in Santa Fe, New Mexico, requested an Indian Doll and sent a necklace from her Grandmother's Indian jewelry collection.  The dress material and design were created to enhance the necklace. She selected the seated Shay as the basic doll with dark braided hair and lovely skin color.   Shay sits in the living room on a canvas pillow chair with a beautiful Indian design and is the star of the room.

Preserve your little girl's dress by using fabric from the dress to create a dress for Shay.  Shay is one of the most popular young girl dolls.  Her hair color and style and eye color can be custom selected to look more like your daughter by using a photo provided by you.

A lady in Florida uses Stephanie to store her diamond earrings when she is not wearing them, since the doll can have pierced ears as well.  She enjoys her diamonds everyday, whether wearing them or not.
